Our products:

We offer personalised military style dog tags, in a variety of materials and finishes. Our product description pages set out the full range of options.

Our prices:

Our quoted prices include VAT. When ordering through the Tag Builder page, the cost of your order is calculated on the fly, according to the options you select. The final cost of your tags will be clearly shown before you add them to your shopping cart.

Delivery costs are calculated according to the customer’s location and chosen delivery method and added before the order confirmation. Our web site prices may change from time to time. The price shown when you checkout is final.

 

Delivery:

Your dog tags will be sent by via your chosen delivery service. Unless we have any questions, your order will generally be dispatched within one working day. 

Availability:

In the event of any item being unavailable we will contact you to advise you of the estimated delivery. You also have the right to cancel or to receive an equivalent substitute (e.g. different colour).

Personalised products - changes and errors:

Your shopping cart will show the text you have chosen for your tags. Once you confirm the order, we cannot accept responsibility for any errors entered by customers. Mistakes can sometimes be corrected later at our discretion.

Cancellation:

You have the right to cancel your order and receive a full refund at any point before shipment. When you have received the despatch confirmation email, you may no longer cancel the order. To cancel an order, click here to email us.

Returns:

If there is an error in the embossing of your tags, please let us know. We will check against the original order and will in the event of an error made by us send replacements at no charge. We will also issue free of charge replacements if we have sent the wrong colour of tags, chains or silencers. In the event of errors, please contact us by email or phone.

If you change your mind, non-personalised items may be returned within fourteen days of receipt, for a full refund. If the item is not faulty, you must pay the cost of returning them. Please contact us by email before returning tags.

We respect your privacy and are determined to protect your personal data. The purpose of this privacy notice is to inform you as to how we look after your personal data when you visit our website (regardless of where you visit it from). We’ll also tell you about your privacy rights and how the data protection law protects you.

THE PERSONAL DATA WE COLLECT ABOUT YOU

Nor do we collect any information about criminal convictions and offences. However, if we do collect Sensitive Personal Data or information about criminal convictions and offences we will ensure we process it in accordance with the provisions of relevant data protection legislation.

Where we need to collect your personal data by law, or under the terms of a contract we have with you and you fail to provide that data when requested, we may not be able to perform the contract we have or are trying to enter into with you (for example, to provide you with goods or services). What do we do with your information?

We only use your personal data to allow us to carry out specific purposes such as communicating with you with regards to our services and products. We are committed to the security of your data and will not sell, distribute or lease your personal information to third parties and will not release your personal data to third parties unless required to do so by law.

We have put in place appropriate security measures to prevent your personal data from being stolen, accidentally lost, used or accessed in an unauthorised way, altered or disclosed. In addition, we limit access to your personal data to those employees, agents, contractors and other third parties who need such access to carry out their contractual obligations to us. They will only process your personal data on our instructions and they are subject to a duty of confidentiality.

We have put in place procedures to deal with any suspected personal data breach and will notify you and any applicable regulator of a breach when we are legally required to do so.

Who do we share your personal data with?

We may share your personal data with third parties including but not necessarily limited to information technology/email service providers (Office 365, Mintsoft), payment service providers (Paypal, Elavon, American Express), couriers for the purpose of delivery of your goods and professional advisers including lawyers, bankers, auditors, insurers and accountants. HM Revenue and Customs, regulators and other authorities based in the UK.

We may also share personal data with third parties to whom we may choose to sell, transfer, or merge parts of our business or our assets (Merger or Acquisition. If a Merger or Acquisition occurs then your personal data will continue to be treated in the same way as set out in this privacy notice unless you are notified otherwise.

We require all third parties to respect the security of your personal data and to treat it in accordance with the law. We do not allow our third-party service providers to use your personal data for their own purposes and only permit them to process your personal data for specified purposes and in accordance with a suitable data processing agreement.

Your personal data may be transferred, processed and/or stored outside the EEA. Where your personal data is transferred outside of the EEA, we will ensure that either a) The European Commission has made an ‘adequacy decision’ with respect to the data protection laws of the country to which it is transferred, or b) we have entered into a suitable data processing agreement with the third party situated in that country to ensure the adequate protection of your data. Cookies

We currently use two types of cookies on our site. Essential ones which help users with the site - such as login info and remembering shopping cart items. These cookies track no personal data. We also use non-essential cookies to track anonymous usage of the site for analytics purposes (Google and Facebook) so we can continue to improve the user experience. These also contain no personal data, only usage info.
In the future we may add more complicated user tracking that would require setting cookies that track how you interact with this site. If we add this feature we will update this page and add suitable notifications to the site.

Change of purpose

We will only use your personal data for the purposes for which we collected it, unless we reasonably consider that we need to use it for another reason and that reason is compatible with the original purpose (New Purpose).

If we need to use your personal data for an unrelated purpose, we will notify you and we will explain the legal basis which allows us to do so.

DATA RETENTION

We will only retain your personal data for as long as necessary to fulfil the purposes we collected it for, including for the purposes of satisfying any legal, accounting, or reporting requirements.

Unless we contact you and obtain your consent for us to retain your personal data for a longer period, we will retain and delete your personal data as follows:

Contact data concerning your contact details held for purposes of being able to contact you will be retained for 6 years following the date of our last contact or dealing with you, at the end of which period it will be deleted from our systems.

Investment data concerning data provided when you decide to purchase products available from our website, will be retained for 6 years following the date that our contract with you terminates (i.e. when you stop using our services), at the end of which period it will be deleted from our systems.

Website data concerning data processed relating to your use of our website will be retained for 6 years following the date of our last contact or dealing with you, at the end of which period it will be deleted from our systems.

Enquiry data regarding data processed concerning enquiries into our products will be retained for 6 years following the date of our last contact or dealing with you, at the end of which period it will be deleted from our systems.

Notification data concerning data provided by you for the purpose of subscription to our mail lists will be retained for 6 years following the date of our last contact or dealing with you, at the end of which period it will be deleted from our systems.

Correspondence data will be retained for 6 years following the date of our last contact or dealing with you, at the end of which period it will be deleted from our systems.

We may retain your personal data where such retention is necessary for compliance with a legal obligation to which we are subject, or in order to protect your vital interests or the vital interests of another natural person.

 

YOUR LEGAL RIGHTS

Unless subject to an exemption under the data protection laws, you have the following rights with respect to your personal data:

The right to request a copy of the personal data which we hold about you;
The right to request that we correct any personal data if it is found to be inaccurate or out of date;

No fee required – with some exceptions

You will not have to pay a fee to access your personal data (or to exercise any of the other rights). However, we may charge a reasonable admin fee if your request is clearly unfounded, repetitive or excessive. Alternatively, we may refuse to comply with your request in these circumstances.

We may need to request specific information from you to help us confirm your identity and ensure your right to access your personal data (or to exercise any of your other rights). This is a security measure to ensure that personal data is not disclosed to any person who has no right to receive it. We may also contact you to ask you for further information in relation to your request to speed up our response.

We try to respond to all legitimate requests within one month. Occasionally it may take us longer than a month if your request is particularly complex or you have made a number of requests. In this case, we will notify you and keep you updated.
